8. TringRugby Parking Regulations

Please read below to ensure that you do not fall foul of the local police. These regulations apply to parking on both Saturdays and Sundays.

Cow Lane Parking:

We will be coning off the “far side” of cow lane opposite the club entrance from now on. It’s a dangerous corner and parents parking could endanger themselves, children and other road users by parking there.

Parking on Cow Lane is OK but only on the side that runs along the pitches and providing that the WHOLE CAR (i.e. all of the wheels)is off the road.

Please DO NOT park on the other side, the police may ticket any cars parked on that side as they cannot park fully off the road and therefore restrict movement along Cow Lane.

Car Parks at Cow Lane:

The car park at Cow Lane should be used where possible. We will be marking off the area by the entrance to enable Ambulances and First Responders to gain access to the clubhouse and first aid room. Please DO NOT block that area.

The car park at the top of Cow Lane is for FOOTBALL PLAYERS ONLY, once they have finished playing (normally before our Rugby finishes), they will lock the gates. If people are parked there they will then be stuck as we have no keys to open those gates.

Pendley Manor Access Road:

PLEASE DO NOT park on or drop off children on the soft verge on the access road to Pendley Manor, this includes the locked gated entrance to the field area that the Cubs, U7 and U8’s use. Pendley Manor kindly give us that space to play and train and we do not wish to upset them by abusing there kindness.

Pendley Court Theatre Car Park:

People CAN use GRASS ROOTS AND PENDLEY COURT car parks and walk through to our ground, you can access these car parks via Station Road or Cow Lane.

Summary:

Car Parking is an issue. We understand parent’s frustrations and are looking at solutions but, until they materialize, please assist us by encouraging people to car share, bike or walk to the club.

Please remember to advise all visiting teams of the rules and that will assist everyone in staying safe when they visit us at Cow Lane.

N.B:

TringRugby cannot be held responsible for any damage or ticketing of cars parked in the area. Owners use car parks at their own risk.
