Chris Armitage was head coach for under 9s-16s when his son James played for Tring, he was then assistant Coach for his younger son Eddie up to the Academy. Many will remember him fondly for the years he gave to the club and his passion for sport.

Chris was diagnosed in August 2015 with Pancreatic Neuroendocrine tumours, a very rare cancer, and after a short but very brave battle he passed away peacefully in the Hospice of St Francis with his family around him. Chris leaves his wife Anna and his 2 sons Eddie and James.

Eddie has asked that the Club let everyone know that his funeral will be held at 12:15 at The Chilterns Crematorium in Amersham on the 31st May 2017.

Tring Rugby and all its players supporters and members send their condolences to the family.
