Mike Ward's London to Surrey Bike Ride
On August 2nd our Director of Rugby will cycle 100 miles from London to Surrey in aid of the Hospice of St Francis, a great local cause.
Two years ago I took part in this fantastic event and a lot of you were very generous in helping Mary and I raise £2000 for the Hospice of St Francis.
I think enough time has passed so I don't feel awkward asking for more of your help for this fantastic cause.
I am still volunteering at the Hospice and I still look forward to my evening shift, which may sound bizarre, but after a hard days work it sort of brings you back down to earth and makes you realise that whatever is going on in your life someone else has it much worse. I don't volunteer for that reason it's just a by product.
The Hospice needs Millions of pounds annually to keep it running, most of that money comes from donations and sponsorship. If you feel you can help pleae click the link below to support me.
