Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff – Man of the Series – 2005 Ashes

A chance to acquire a signed photograph that captures a great piece of sporting history.

Non come bigger than Cricket legend Andrew Flintoff. In becoming man of the series in the 2005 Ashes he broke another England legend, Ian Botham’s record of six sixes in an Ashes Test match with 5 in the first innings and a further 4 in the 2nd innings. In the same game he took 7 wickets including that of Ricky Ponting. England won this Edgbaston test by only 2 runs which saved their hopes of regaining the Ashes. England Captain dubbed the match as ‘Fred’s Test’ in honour of his Man of the Match performance.

Freddie went on to score a century at Trent Bridge and take 5 wickets on the 4th day enabling England to draw the Test and retain the Ashes. He was named Man of the Series by Aussie coach John Buchanan. In 2005 he also won the inaugural Compton-Miller Medal, ICC Player of the Year and Sports Personality of the Year. He was then awarded an MBE in 2006.

This photograph captures Freddie celebrating in style and is signed, together with an authenticity certificate of his signature.
