Sunday 10th February the newly formed Tring Girls section traveled to Cheshunt RFU to partake in joint training and matches with other Hertfordshire Girl sections. This was the girl’s first experience of playing games and training with other clubs and to experience playing on a RFU 4G pitch. Tring did themselves proud fitting in quickly and partaking with enthusiasm, Tom Mowbray, Hert's RDO was complimentary about there skill levels, forward running and tackling in particular and hoped to see them again at future Hert's RFU events.

Tring Girls section meets on Sundays at 12 noon for training at Cow Lane, Mark Firth, M&J chair and Andy Yule, Mini Chair are involved in running the sessions and we are delighted to announce that girl’s parent, Mike Williams has agreed to act as lead coach and fellow parent, Anne Marie Henry will take on the team manager role and new volunteers are most welcome to get involved to help us develop the section. We continue to build the girls section and welcome new players from school years 6 to 13 coming along and trying rugby for the first time.
