An amazing opportunity has arisen to be instrumental in the success of the senior squad. At Tring we don’t view the 2nd team as it’s own squad, they form part of the main squad and the coach has strong links with the head coach. With the first team pushing for promotion to National 2 and the 2nd team in RFU Zoo league 2 this is a level 5/6 position - you will be required to offer some coaching, and managerial skills are key. You will also work closely with the captain on selection and match days. A good understanding of the game is crucial as you will feedback on a weekly basis to the head coach about individual player performance.

This is a great position and opportunity to be part of the senior set up which has been highly successful. You don’t have to be a qualified coach and you will get a chance to learn from several experienced and high level coaches.

Key tasks

Attend matches
Organise match days ie timings, warm up etc
Coaching of the team
Coaching of individuals
Feedback to head coach
Selection of the team
Attend training Tuesday and Thursday where possible.
Enjoy the team environment and continue the togetherness of this squad

We are open to a joint role between 2-3 coaches or a one person role.
