Derek has been at TringRugby for many years; starting his playing career as a Junior and moving up to be Club Captain. His efforts in managing the 2nd team have seen them get better and better. Many of the young players in this years 1s have played for Derek and been mentored by him and been encouraged and given the confidence to play at a higher level.

Derek's relentless commitment to TringRugby has been to his credit and we can only thank him for his efforts and hope that his successor can be as successful in the role.

We'll look forward to seeing Derek at the club just relaxing!
