TringRugby are about to launch their charity and Limited Company in the new financial year (May to April), we seek a bookkeeper to assist and ensure the clubs financial data meets the requirements laid down by HMRC and The Charity Commission.

Reporting to the clubs treasurer, the role will encompass (but not be limited to):

Monthly:

Entering data into our accountancy software system.
Reconciling bank accounts.
Dealing with invoice reconciliation.
Ensuring monies in/out are apportioned to our Limited Company or Charity.
Prepare monthly overview for treasurer and management team.

Quarterly:

Preparing quarterly VAT return.
Assisting with online Gift Aid submission.
Reviewing Bar Stock Audit and quarterly bar takings.

Annually:

Preparing management accounts for submission to accountants.
Dealing with any items raised by accountant.
Reviewing with Treasurer the accountant prior to submission to HMRC and Charity Commission.

Location: The role can be completed from home or our treasurers’ office in Hemel Hempstead.

Salary: An agreed rate per hour dependant on qualifications.
