I am very pleased to let members know that last Saturday was a record gate receipt of £1155 coupled with the Pre-match lunch donations the figure reached £1650. Adding this to previous matches and combined with the donations from pre match lunches, total donations totalled over £12,000 for the season.

This initiative was organised by Martin and Rowena Dean who marshalled collection team leaders at every home game. A thank you to them for stepping up when we most needed it. A big thank you to Paul and Jan Quilliam, John Stevens, Rob Bray and family team and Jim Stevens, who marshalled the bowls club entrance at every game. There were a few others who mucked in with these stalwarts so the club thanks you all for a great effort.
Further thanks needs to go to Muddy Walters for putting up the original signs, looking after the collection bags/high viz jackets and to Sandra Dorsett for supplying the floats and reconciling and banking the cash.

These funds are much needed and will go towards the club and ground improvements we are trying to implement.
