Saturday saw the 1s travell, to an always tough, Westcombe Park and ended a hard fought match with a 24-8 loss. The score was 8-3 until late in the match but the early loss of one of our key players and 10 minutes of injury time saw the team unable to hang on.

The 2s played host to Letchworth 2s and a team made up of old head and academy players stormed to a 77-0 victory to keep the Cow Lane faithful happy at the final whistle.

There was also a home win for the 4s against OMT's; the final score 48-14. The 3s meanwhile travelled to Bishops Stortford and despite, as one spectator described it, "fighting to the very end", eventually lost out by 27-19.

Yesterday saw 2 club wins. The Academy travelled to Bishsops Stortford and emerged as 29-36 winners in their league fixture. The Under 14s meanwhile welcomed Harpenden for a friendly and won 47-14.

Next weekend sees 4 senior teams in action once again. The 1s face Bury St Edmunds at Cow Lane, kick off at 3pm, while the 3s welcome Finchley 2s. The 2s travel to Old Haberdashers 2s while the 4s make their way to Hatfield 2's.

Sunday sees the Academy in Cup Action at Cow Lane when they kick off against Holt at 1pm.
