TringRugby Festivals - Help Required

This year the M and J section will be hosting our usual festival but have also been awarded the County Tag Festival.

These are great fundraising events for the club but we really need your help to make them work.

Tring Mini Festival – 19th April

Saturday 18th -We need to set up the festival, cone off Cow Lane, set up market stalls, mark out pitches and prepare the area for the festival.

10:00am – meet and deal with the above BUT 2 pitches (1st and 2nd pitch) need to be marked up AFTER the senior matches have been played (suggest U11 and U12’s meet at 3:00pm to do this)

Sunday 19th - We need car park marshals from 8:00am to 10:00am, each pitch will need a “Pitch Marshall “ and these people will run the “leagues” in their section on the day. We are also looking for BBQ servers during the day AND A clear up crew at 4:00pm to bring in flags and clear away rubbish.

Hertfordshire Tag Festival – 26th April

Saturday 25th -We need to set up the festival, cone off Cow Lane, mark out pitches and prepare the area for the festival. We plan to meet at 10am.

Sunday 26th - We will again need car park marshals from 8:00am to 10:00am , Pitch Marshalls and BBQ servers during the day as well as a clear up crew at 3:00pm to bring in flags, dismantle market stalls, clear up Cow Lane and clear away rubbish.

If you can spare an hour, a few hours or all day, it doesn’t matter, any time you can spare to help the club to stage these money raising events would be really appreciated. Please email Jon Westcott on jw@igw.com if you can help.
