Sunshine saw Tring run out against Old Priorians at Cow Lane on Saturday. Finding themselves at the top and 8 places higher in the London 1 North League, the home team started confidently and despite some early pressure went into the break some 30 points better off than the visitors.
The second half saw the weather change and the rain come down. Handling errors brought on by the wet saw the OP land 3 tries in a tough 40 minutes against a brace from Tring resulting in a comfortable 50 -25 final score. The OP left Cow Lane with a bonus point and Tring retains its lead at the top of the table 12 points clear of the nearest club Brentwood and still the only team unbeaten with 21 wins in 21 games.
