The 4s lost the local derby 20-10 to Hemel. It was a very entertaining game to watch and I am sure was fun to play in. Hemel had some strong runners and some quick backs but Tring held their own for most of the match and were in the hunt until the last 5 minutes. Man of the match was was Robbie Hinchliffe who scored one of our tries, tackled everything that went near him and had a great all round game. Phil Coleman pushed him close for the accolade from Full back with some heroic defence and he joined the attacking line on a regular basis. Ben Dumpleton got the other try. Special thanks must go to Gideon and Phil from Old Millhillians who helped out as we were short. Gideon had the distinction of playing for both teams as we managed to break all of Hemel's props. DoD was Rory Sore who vommed in the warm up and took no further part. Chest infection apparently, but he didn't let this effect his drinking skills on the touchline. Morale of the story as I wrote this, a 3rd team game called off, going to watch the 4's makes for a long drinking session!! Great fun had last night by all teams mixing and drinking together. The Robin Hood has never been so busy.
