Herts RFU Returning Students 10's Tournament

A fantastic turnout of 22 players for Trings' first 2014 Returning Students fixture at OA's.
Tring found themselves in Group A with Fullerians, OA and Tabard, whilst Group B consisted of OMT's, Welwyn, Cheshunt and a BaaBaas squad half composed of Tring players due to our outstanding turnout.
Tring won their opening OA's fixture 24-26, narrowly lost to Fullerians 10-7 and comprehensively beat Tabard 31-0 to make it to the Semi Finals. OMT's won all three of their games to make it into our Semi, and proved tough opposition for Tring. After a quick 5 points to Tring, the second half saw OMT's got into their stride and they scored 2 to make it to the finals.
Trings RS squad can hold their heads up after a great performance, some lovely individual play and a real camaraderie in the Squad. I quote an RFU official from this evening "well done, amazing to see such a great turnout from Tring, thats what this tournament is all about, well played"
