A very cold but dry day for a tournament in Windsor, in the shadow of the castle and the Returning Students squad quickly saw off Maidenhead in the first round with a comprehensive 15-0 victory.
After an hours wait in the cold a much tougher second game with lots of cold hands, and the RS squad went down 12-29 to a strong and fast moving Marlow side, leaving us to fight for the second prize, the plate.
The final game against Windsor, the home side, had the opposition scoring in the first minute, leaving us much ground to make up, however a resurgent Tring side managed to put on 33 points to 12 in the next 19 minutes. Excellent running, delightful offloads and some great individual tries and we carried the plate trophy away, the first silverware for the RS squad this year, well done!
