U7s Tour to Rye

It's the first time the club has run an under 7 tour, making these the youngest ever TringRugby Rangers.

The squad of 10 played some fantastic rugby to finish equal top on both points and wins after two days. Unfortunately a try count back left them in third place overall and pushed them into the 3 v 4 playoff final.

TringRugby played Chesham in their final, their superior speed and tagging meant that they ran away with the match to finish with an 8-2 win.

We were also delighted that the squad won the tournaments Best Sportsmanship Award; this was voted for by the other clubs and refs taking part.

It's great to know that other people can see the effort that the players, coaches and supporters put in and there is certainly a lot to look forward to from these boys in the future.

The tour was a great success, much fun was had off the pitch as well as on. Thanks to everyone who participated with BBQs, Beach cricket & football and generally made this such a memorable trip.
