Match Preview

For those parents of players who have been selected to play at the Henley festival - all the information you need is below (you will have received a notification through Pitchero if selected).

Henley Rugby Club, Dr Leas, Marlow Road, Henley on Thames, RG9 2JA

TIMINGS:
9am – please meet at our shelter in the “U7 warm up and gazebo area” – look out for our banner.
9:30am – players will all need to be registered with the organisers and there are various coaches’ briefings at that time.
10am – matches will start promptly
3:30pm – festival is due to close

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
Please confirm that your child will be there on Sunday by 11am this Friday 29 September.

If you are yet to pay their subs then please try to do this by Sunday.

If you have yet to register your child with the RFU then please complete the RFU registration form by 11am this Friday 29 September and email it through. We will need their RFU number when we register the players at 9:30am.

If there are any issues please let me know ASAP.

U7 INFORMATION
U7s will be playing on the Tiger Turf (all weather pitch) where metal studs are not permitted. Players and Coaches should wear moulded studs, blades, Astroturf runners or trainers. Spectators will be positioned outside the fencing surrounding the Tiger Turf.

Please ensure you bring plenty of water for your child throughout the day and they are dressed in Tring kit with layers to stay warm.

There will be food available to purchase on site with 3 coffee vans and a Pizza van! Feel free to bring a packed lunch.

PARKING
Parking is free of charge. The car parks are located adjacent to the club house and pitches. Please follow the instructions of the car park marshals.

NO DOGS ALLOWED – with the exception of guide dogs and other assistance dogs.

PHOTOGRAPHY
By entering children into this tournament parents/guardians implicitly agree and accept that photographic images may be taken of their son/daughter during the normal course of rugby activity by accredited photographers and/or other parents/guardians.
Images may be used in the local press or in club publicity, in line with the RFC guidelines for the welfare of young people in Rugby Union.
Professional photographers will be at the Festival and photographs can be purchased on the day or online at a later date, via a secure website.
No spectators will be able to take photographs at the event (even of their own children) unless they have signed the Event Registration Form and handed it into the relevant age group control tent and been issued with an official pass authorising them to take photographs.
