Maidenhead Festival – Sunday 8 October 2017

Please arrive at Maidenhead Rugby Club for no later than 9am to enable us to register the players with the tournament organisers. I’ve sent out a tournament map so that you will know where to find us and we will also have the age group flag so watch out for that.

There is no parking at the clubhouse, you need to park in the nearby car park – details below.

If there are any issues please let me know ASAP.

Parking arrangements

The car parks at Maidenhead Rugby Club will NOT be available during the festival.
Please assist us by directing all cars from your team to park at the Stafferton Way multi-storey car park (approximately a 10 minute walk). If full, the next nearest overflow car parks are available on Shoppenhangers Road by Maidenhead Train Station, Grove Road and the Nicholson Centre. I am assured that parking is free on a Sunday.

RFU Photographic Policy (there will not be professional photographers at the festival)

No spectators will be able to take photographs at the event (even of their own children) unless they have signed the attached RFU Event Registration Form and handed it to the Tournament Control Tent and been issued with an Official Pass authorising them to take photographs at the event.
Please can ALL clubs issue the necessary documentation regarding photography so that spectators are aware and come prepared with completed RFU Event Registration Forms.

TIMINGS:
9am – please meet at our shelter by the U7 pitches to register the players, look out for our banner.
9:30am – coaches’ briefings.
10am – matches will start promptly
1:30pm – presentations for all age groups

Please ensure you bring plenty of water for your child throughout the day and they are dressed in Tring kit with layers to stay warm.

There will be food available to purchase on site but feel free to bring a packed lunch.
