Great day for Tring under 9's, winners of the Plate final

All the boys showed amazing spirit, in a very long day in the sun at Bishop Stortford. Fantastic rucking and ball retention meant we bossed the territory and possession in all our games. We played 6 games in all, won 4 drew 1 and lost 1. In the whole day we only conceded 2 tries, a really fantastic achievement, and given these stats, I'm amazed we were only 3rd in our group. This put us in the Plate final, which we won comfortably against Upminster (you're going Down-Minster!).
First silverware of the season and real promise for a great season ahead.
