New players are always welcome!
We always welcome new players (boys at Year 10 school age) - whether they've played before or completely new to rugby, they'll find a fun, supportive and challenging environment at Huel Tring Rugby. This allows our players to develop new skills, work as a team, keep fit and - just as importantly - make friends and gain confidence.
Our first training session of the 2025/26 season will be 10:30am to 12pm on Sunday 7th September 2025 - and then every Sunday morning after that. We also have a midweek training session each Wednesday night at 7pm to 8pm. New players are welcome to join a training session or two so they can try rugby for a few weeks without commitment. Rugby is a unique sport where bonds and friendships are created for lifetime.
We compete in the Herts Middlesex Junior Leagues and also have a number of friendly matches against local clubs throughout the season.
Our key ethos is in line with RFU recommendations. Emphasising TREDS values.
• Teamwork
• Respect
• Enjoyment
• Discipline
• Sportsmanship
If you’d like to give rugby a try, please feel free to just come along to a training session (do however check the fixture list on the U15 section of the Tring Rugby website, which will let you know if we are training or playing a fixture) or else feel free to just drop me a line if you have questions by using the link below.
Thanks!
