Huel Tring Rugby U7s is about giving every player a fun, active and positive rugby experience as they continue their journey through Mini Rugby.

At U7s, players begin to develop a greater understanding of the game through small-sided games, challenges and lots of opportunities to play. Sessions encourage children to explore, make decisions and learn through doing rather than spending long periods listening or waiting.

Players continue to develop their running, passing, catching, evasion and support skills, while beginning to recognise space, work with teammates and make simple decisions in attack and defence.

The emphasis remains firmly on enjoyment, participation and development. Every player should have opportunities to carry the ball, make decisions, try new things and experience success.
