Huel Tring Rugby U8s continues to build a fun, inclusive and positive rugby experience, giving every player the opportunity to develop their skills, confidence and understanding of the game.

At U8s, players are encouraged to become more aware of space, teammates and defenders, beginning to make their own decisions about when to run, pass, evade and support. Sessions should provide lots of opportunities to learn through small-sided games, challenges and purposeful play.

Players continue developing their running, passing, catching and evasion, while starting to understand the importance of moving forward, supporting the ball carrier, communicating and working together as a team.

We want players to be brave enough to try things and comfortable making mistakes. Coaches create an environment where experimentation is encouraged and learning is more important than the scoreboard.
